For some time I have been working with oil colour thinned by linseed oil which leads to a watercolour like appearance. The running colour develops its own dynamic and creates unexpected effects. Floral forms and landscapes evoke but do not represent real places, they are inner landscapes, transformed memories of places.

The pencil drawings shining through underline the vivid structure of the paintings.

water colour

I started the water colours together with the linseed oil paintings. They are a further dynamic  and spontaneous way to merge painting and drawing, structure and colour to an abstract composition.
